Nu ger IBM oss en glimt av framtiden med <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ibm.com\/2021-05-06-IBM-Unveils-Worlds-First-2-Nanometer-Chip-Technology,-Opening-a-New-Frontier-for-Semiconductors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"external external_icon\">v\u00e4rldens f\u00f6rsta 2nm-chip<\/a>, som har 45 % b\u00e4ttre prestanda och anv\u00e4nder 75 % mindre energi \u00e4n de b\u00e4sta 7nm-chipsen.<\/p>\n<p>Utvecklat bara fyra \u00e5r efter att IBM tillk\u00e4nnagav sina 5nm-chips, passar det nya 2nm-chipset 50 miljarder transistorer p\u00e5 en wafer som \u00e4r lika stor som en fingernagel. Flera av dess komponenter \u00e4r mindre \u00e4n DNA-str\u00e4ngar, tack vare hj\u00e4lp av ny <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Extreme_ultraviolet_lithography\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"external external_icon\">Extreme Ultra Violet<\/a> (EUV)-teknologi.<\/p>\n<p>Enligt IBM kan den nya 2nm-designen leda till telefoner med fyra dagars batteritid, minska koldioxidavtrycket fr\u00e5n datacenter, \u00f6ka processorkraften hos b\u00e4rbara datorer och l\u00e5sa upp en ny generation av AI.<\/p>\n<p>Alla som \u00e4r bekanta med Apples \u00f6verg\u00e5ng till 5nm M1-processorer vet att dessa supersm\u00e5, effektiva chips \u00e4r revolutionerande. \u00c4nd\u00e5 kan det h\u00e4nda att produkter med 2nm-chip inte kommer fram f\u00f6rr\u00e4n 2027 (baserat p\u00e5 en v\u00e4lgrundad gissning <a href=\"https:\/\/liliputing.com\/2019\/12\/intel-aims-to-be-making-1-4nm-processors-within-a-decade.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"external external_icon\">fr\u00e5n Intel<\/a> ).
